1. Our Commitment

JobTrackrPH is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and the issuances of the National Privacy Commission (NPC). This Notice supplements our general Privacy Policy.

2. Who We Are

For the purposes of the Data Privacy Act, JobTrackrPH, based in Metro Manila, Philippines, acts as the Personal Information Controller (PIC) for personal data processed through the Service. We have designated a Data Protection Officer you can reach at dpo@jobtrackrph.com.

3. Personal Data We Process

We process the categories of personal data described in our Privacy Policy, including your identity and contact details, account and profile data, job-application records, documents you create or upload, usage and device data, and limited payment-transaction data from our processors.

We ask that you avoid submitting sensitive personal information (as defined by the Act) that is not necessary for the job-search tools you are using.

4. Purposes of Processing

We process personal data to provide and secure the Service, deliver the features you request (including AI-assisted tools), manage subscriptions and payments, communicate with you, comply with legal obligations, and improve the Service — as detailed in our Privacy Policy.

5. Criteria for Lawful Processing

We rely on one or more lawful criteria under the Act: your consent; the necessity of processing to perform our contract with you; compliance with a legal obligation; and our legitimate interests (or those of a third party), except where overridden by your fundamental rights.

6. Sharing and Processors

We engage Personal Information Processors — including payment, hosting, email, and AI providers — under contracts that require them to protect your data and process it only on our instructions. We do not sell personal data. Cross-border transfers, if any, are carried out with appropriate safeguards.

7. Storage and Retention

Personal data is stored using appropriate safeguards and retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described, or as required by law. When no longer needed, data is securely deleted or anonymized.

8. Your Rights as a Data Subject

Under the Data Privacy Act, you have the right to:

  1. 1Be informed whether your personal data is being processed;
  2. 2Access your personal data and details about how it is processed;
  3. 3Object to processing, including for direct marketing;
  4. 4Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data;
  5. 5Erasure or blocking of your data under the conditions set by law;
  6. 6Data portability — obtain a copy of data you provided in a commonly used format;
  7. 7Damages for violations of your rights; and
  8. 8File a complaint with the National Privacy Commission.

9. How to Exercise Your Rights

Many rights can be exercised directly in your account settings (for example, editing your profile or deleting your account). For other requests, email our Data Protection Officer at dpo@jobtrackrph.com or privacy@jobtrackrph.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting, and we will respond within the period required by law.

10. Security Measures

We maintain reasonable and appropriate organizational, physical, and technical security measures — including access controls, encryption in transit, password hashing, activity logging, and staff confidentiality practices — designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or loss.

11. Data Breach Response

We maintain procedures to detect, assess, and respond to personal-data breaches. Where a breach meets the thresholds under the Act, we will notify the National Privacy Commission and affected data subjects within the timelines required by law.

12. National Privacy Commission

If you believe your data-privacy rights have been violated and we have not resolved your concern, you may lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (NPC).
