1. Overview
JobTrackrPH ("we", "us", or "our") operates the job-search platform available at www.jobtrackrph.com (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal information when you use the Service, and the rights available to you.
We are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) of the Philippines, its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and applicable issuances of the National Privacy Commission (NPC). For a focused summary of your rights under that law, see our Data Privacy Notice.
By using the Service, you acknowledge the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide
- Account information — your name, email address, and password when you register.
- Profile and career data — job titles, employers, skills, work history, and other details you add to build resumes, cover letters, or applications.
- Application tracking data — the jobs, companies, statuses, notes, follow-ups, and interview details you record.
- Documents and uploads — resumes, cover letters, and other files you create or upload.
- Support communications — messages, tickets, and feedback you send us.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data — features used, pages viewed, and actions taken within the Service.
- Device and log data — IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and timestamps.
- Cookies and similar technologies — as described in our Cookie Policy.
Payment information
When you subscribe to a paid plan, payments are processed by our third-party payment providers (PayMongo and, where applicable, Xendit). We receive limited transaction details (such as amount, status, plan, and a reference number) but we do not collect or store your full card numbers; card data is handled directly by our PCI-DSS-compliant processors.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use personal information to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service and your account;
- Generate and store resumes, cover letters, and application records you request;
- Power AI-assisted features (see Section 4);
- Process subscriptions, payments, invoices, and receipts;
- Send transactional messages (verification codes, security alerts, receipts) and, where you have opted in, product and lifecycle emails;
- Provide customer support and respond to your requests;
- Monitor, secure, debug, and improve the Service;
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms and Conditions.
4. AI-Assisted Features
Certain features — including the resume builder, cover-letter generator, interview preparation, and job-matching tools — use artificial intelligence, including trusted third-party AI providers, to process the inputs you supply and generate suggestions.
Inputs are transmitted securely and processed to return output to you. We do not sell your content, and we instruct our AI providers not to use your content to train their general-purpose models where such controls are available. Please review the AI Usage Disclaimer for important limitations, and avoid submitting sensitive personal information you do not want processed.
5. Lawful Basis for Processing
Consistent with the Data Privacy Act, we process personal data on one or more of the following bases:
- Contract — to deliver the Service you sign up for and to manage your subscription;
- Consent — for optional communications and certain cookies, which you may withdraw at any time;
- Legitimate interests — to secure, improve, and support the Service, balanced against your rights;
- Legal obligation — to comply with applicable laws, tax, and regulatory requirements.
7. Data Retention
We keep personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. After account deletion, we remove or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legitimate business, accounting, legal, or dispute-resolution purposes.
8. Security
We use organizational, physical, and technical safeguards designed to protect personal data — including encrypted transport (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access controls, and least-privilege practices. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work continuously to protect your information and to respond promptly to incidents.
9. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to be informed about, access, correct, object to, and request deletion of your personal data, as well as to data portability and to lodge a complaint. Many of these are available directly in your account settings; for anything else, contact us and we will respond within a reasonable time.
For the full set of rights under the Data Privacy Act and how to exercise them, see our Data Privacy Notice. To make a request, email privacy@jobtrackrph.com.
10. Children’s Privacy
The Service is intended for job seekers aged 18 and older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a minor has provided us personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the Service or by email. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
